First License

Your first driver's license

We prepare new drivers for the National Driver's License (CNH) in category A (motorcycles), category B (cars) or A and B together, and we also offer training for categories D and E.

The course follows every stage required by DETRAN-CE: medical and psychological exams, a 45-hour theory course, the theory exam, practical lessons and the practical exam.

Basic requirements

Be able to read and write
ID card (RG) — original and copy
CPF — original and copy
Recent proof of residence in your name (up to 90 days) — original and copy*

* Proof of residence must be recent (up to 90 days) and in the candidate's name. If you do not have one in your name, DETRAN provides a residence declaration, which must be filled in legibly, without erasures, and taken to a notary office with your original ID card to have the signature certified.
